Babassu Oil
Packed with antioxidants and healthy fats, known for its health and moisturizing properties.
Linseed
Full of fatty-acids and anti-oxidants, Linseed is known to help reduce frizz and give hair an increased shine.
Avocado Oil
One of the few oils that can penetrate the hair, delivering intense moisture from within.
Rub the product between your hands and apply on soaking wet hair.
Step 2
Use the “raking/praying hands method” to evenly spread the product throughout your strands.
Step 3
Select your desired styling method (scrunch/ fingercurls/ shingle) to enhance and define.
Step 4
Air dry or diffuse. Avoid touching your hair excessively while drying as this will create frizz. Once completely dry, scrunch to 'break the light cast' using an oil or serum to make your hair soft and bouncy.

"I am extremely disappointed in the recent changes to the Curl Defining Styling Soufflé. Curlsmith is insisting this is just a 'packaging update,' but the ingredient list tells a different story. The removal of EDTA has made this significantly less effective in hard water, and the reordering of the moisturizing oils means the product no longer provides the rich, defined results it once did. The new consistency is watery and creates zero 'crunch' to scrunch out. Calling this the 'same formula' is a slap in the face to long-term customers who know exactly how this product used to perform. Truly a shame to see a 'Holy Grail' ruined!!! Now I have to go on the search for a new product with a different manufacturer as Curlsmith has lost my trust!"

A little disappointed at the reformulation
"This used to be my holy Grail, until you guys reformulated it. The first time used the new version I used it like I normally use gels and I ended up with a frizzy mess. The 2nd time I used it, I treated like it was a curl cream, and omg the results were so good. Fluffy soft defined hair with barely any frizz at all. While styling it had ok slip, the more water I kept adding the more it felt like I was styling with a mousse because it did foam up. I deducted one star because it’s totally a different product now. Ps. I have 3b high porosity rough textured hair, medium density and medium thickness."

What is the difference between the in shower fixer and the Souffle? Also, can I shower, then use the air dy cream and then apply the in shower fixer? Or better to do that and apply fley jelly or souffle? Thanks

The In-Shower Style Fixer is our strongest hold gel designed to lock in definition and keep frizz at bay, while the Curl Defining Styling Soufflé offers strong hold with added moisture for softer, bouncier curls. You can definitely apply the Weightless Air Dry Cream after showering, then layer with either the In-Shower Style Fixer, Hydro Style Flexi Jelly, or Soufflé depending on the level of hold and finish you prefer. It really comes down to whether you want a crunch-free soft hold (Flexi Jelly), moisture and definition (Soufflé), or maximum long-lasting hold (In-Shower Style Fixer). What is correct level hold…..jumbo says level 5, 8 oz bottle says level 8 hold.

Why does the 16oz say an “8” level hold, while the 8oz says “5” level hold? I want to reorder, how confused on which is correct level hold….

Has the scent changed for this product? i just opened a new container and it sort of smells like cologne and is pretty strong, compared to the more mild & slightly fruity scent of my last couple of bottles. i've been a long term user, so it sort of surprised me.
