How to use
Step 1
Start with dry hair. Apply a small amount of the Curlsmith® Curlshield Cream™ in your hair.
Step 2
Select the barrel you wish to use depending on your curls or the look you want to achieve. Insert the barrel into the wand handle, aligning the dots on both parts, and ensure it clicks securely into place.
Step 3

Wrap the hair around the barrel, holding the hair in place for 10-20 seconds.
Step 4
Remove the wand from the hair.

Curling wand works on long hair only
"I have fine curly/wavy medium length hair cut into layers with some short face framing pieces. I found the curling wand VERY hard to use on the shorter pieces of hair, the hair just slips right off the wand with or without wearing the glove. The wands are very thick and I just find it hard to use on my fine hair in general long or short pieces. I feel like a lot of the videos ive seen show it being used on thick curly hair. I tried the thinnest wand attachment and it ends up just giving me shirley temple curls which are really hard to loosen without it getting frizzy. I wish I could return this wand as I will not be using it and feel like someone else would get more use out of it."

Ridiculous Return Policy
"How can I know if I want to return a curling iron if I can’t try it out? When I tried to return my Defizzion curl wand I was told I couldn’t return it if it had been opened or used. So lame. Sadly this didn’t work with my curl pattern so now I am out $180 bucks. BOOOOO!"

Curling wand
"I asked for this for Christmas - it’s more expensive than what I would normally purchase for myself - but so far I like it. I’m still experimenting with the different barrels but I like the glove so I can hold the ends of my hair against it better than I could without it. I also just use 310 degrees so I don’t fry my hair."

"I was super excited to finally snag this tool with a black Friday deal. I have 2B-2C wavy hair and I needed help with the front and side pieces on day 3-4 because they would become stretched out and frizzy looking. After a bit of a learning curve to figure out the options, I can now touch up the side pieces and extend my washdays. It does take a bit of trial and error to figure out which attachment is best, and exactly how to use it. But once you figure it out, you will be thrilled with the results. Great tool!"
