Not For Fine Hair
"I had high hopes for this product. I have yet to use a product I have not enjoyed from Curlsmith, until now. It did not lather almost at all firstly. Then once dry there was a film on my hair as if there were product build up. I ended up looking worse. My hair was very stringy and at the top I had gone flat. Not to mention My scalp looked greasy, and this was after I had just washed it. You know when you go to rub your scalp and you bring your fingers to your nose and can smell the last two days of build up? That was my experience on day 1 hair wash day. I'll not be re-purchasing. I also did not use any new products. This was in conjunction with all my normal Curlsmith products. I wont say this is a bad product, it just does not work for my hair type."

Product can be heavy on hair
"I was super excited to try this shampoo and conditioner set, after hearing such great things. Unfortunately, it did not work for my hair and would leave patches of greasiness. When I reached out, I was advised to ensure double cleansing and using a clarifying shampoo, and really making sure I rinsed everything out. I made sure to take the time and try each tip, but it was with little success. In the end I think it was too heavy or moisturizing for my normal - oily hair."

Some sites and companies state that sodium chloride in schampoo can strip the hair of its natural oils and result in hair loss, where does Curlsmith stand in this?

While sodium chloride (salt) is sometimes used to thicken shampoos, it can be drying for some hair types, especially if used in high concentrations. How does using the essential moisture cleanser and conditioner compare to the frizz control equivalents?
The primary benefit of the Essential Moisture range is to focuses on moisturising and nourishing hair while gently removing dirt and product buildup. Whereas the Frizz Range focuses on taming frizz while removing build up :)

No you can not. The Wash and Scrub Shampoo is our only clarifying shampoo.
