How to use

Step 1

Rub the product between your hands and apply on soaking wet hair.

Step 2

Use the “raking/praying hands method” to evenly spread the product throughout your strands.

Step 3

Select your desired styling method (scrunch/fingercurls/shingle) to enhance and define.

Step 4

Air dry or diffuse. Avoid touching your hair excessively while drying as this will create frizz. Once completely dry, scrunch to 'break the light cast' using an oil or serum to make your hair soft and bouncy.

"I wanted to try this gel since it looks like aqua shape up isn't available in a larger bottle anymore and what a complete difference, and not in a good way. Flexi feels sticky and heavy, it weighs my hair down(taking out volume) and my hair is so hard to brush; when I brush my hair or even touch my hair I can feel the residue. Sure, my curls hold for awhile but I have to wash it more often- with Aqua Shape Up, my hair felt soft, it was voluminous, and I could go 2 weeks before I needed to wash. Should the Hydro Style Flexi Jelly be used before or after a heater protectant like the Miracle Shield? I ask because the “How to Use” instructions for the Miracle Shield state that it should be used prior to stylers, but since the Miracle Shield contains oils, I would think it should be used after the Hydro Style Flexi Jelly.
