Ways to Diffuse Coily Hair

Stretch Diffuse
Stretch diffusing is very popular for anyone with coils as you experience alot of shrinkage with type 4 hair. This method allows you to stretch and elongate your curl as it is drying, resulting in more length once your curls are 100% dry.
Pixie Diffusing
Pixie Diffusing is probably the least popular method for diffusing coils as it encourages volume and a tighter curl pattern. If you were to select this method it may only be for a short period in a specific area.
Hover Diffusing
If you want your coil to remain as they are once you have applied your styler, then Hover Diffusing is the technique for you. Holding the dryer around your coils means they benefit from the heat only without manipulating your type 4 tresses.
