I honesty didn’t expect to get it replaced since it’s been almost 2 years, but I thought I would try to see if I could at least purchase a new diffuser attachment. "I purchased this dryer on September 2, 2022. It is now October 21, 2026. I've used it once a week since that time so approximately 214 times. That's not even a full year if I was using daily. It takes me about 15 min to diffuse. I cleaned lint from the filter when it needed to be cleaned. I stored it carefully and it has never overheated and I've never had issues with it. Tonight I was diffusing my hair and it suddenly powered down and was barely blowing air. It never made it back to full speed or heat. I now have to go to bed with wet hair and buy a new dryer tomorrow. I replaced my old devacurl (which was made by taiff) dryer with this due to the great reviews. I had the original devacurl dryer which I purchased in 2009 from Devachan at the time. There wasn't really anything wrong with it but I wanted to try something new. I did enjoy this and it worked well. The diffuser is great and I'll keep that for whatever I replace this with. For the price I paid, this should have lasted a lot longer. A nearly $200 dryer should last at least 10 years. I'm glad I have the diffuser, but the dryer itself is a huge disappointment for me. I will be going back to Taiff after the previous one is still working all these years later. Just wanted to post this review here in case you are looking for longevity. I think you can do better for the price!"
"THIS IS MY FAVORITE DIFFUSER. The large head is a complete lifesaver, as it cuts my drying time almost in half. Even though its definetly on the pricey side, I would say it's definetly worth the money."

"I use this dryer every day so it gets a lot of use! I love the dryer/diffuser but with constant use, the diffuser attachment gets worn out and falls off multiple times while I am drying my hair. This gets very frustrating with every day use. I have reached out to ask if I could just get a diffuser replacement part with no luck. I am not going to buy a whole new dryer when the attachment part is the only thing that is broken. There needs to be a better design with the plastic pieces that attach to the dryer-it starts off fine and stays on, but wears out over time. Please offer just the diffuser attachment to exchange, purchase or have a better design that lasts over time!"

"I really like this dryer. The size of the diffuser speeds up the drying process and makes working with long hair less complicated. Even without styling products, using the dryer itself makes my hair look so much better. The heat and intensity options are great, as is the cool air shot. I've been dealing with a spine injury lately, which unfortunately, has made these dryer difficult to use with its larger size and heavier weight. The built-in stand might work for some who can sit easily, but I'd love to see Curlsmith release a hands-free, height adjustable stand for this hair dryer. I've been looking for one of the clamp stands with a weighted base to fit this hair dryer without toppling over, and there don't seem to be any great options. I'd be the first to buy something like this if it were available from Curlsmith. I think it could be really helpful for curly-haired people of all abilities and situations. Fingers crossed!"
"Absolutely love this diffuser but after using it a year, it falls off the dryer. I've reached out to customer service and they want me to video the process rather than try and help with a replacement. It's a little hard to video and diffuse while it's falling off constantly. Super disappointing because I truly love the size and result of this diffuser. I rarely spend so much on a product."
